President Donald Trump is headed for the dust bin of history, but the real story today is the swearing in of the 46th president of the United States… Joe Biden.
Biden will be sworn in today at noon after a tumultuous election capped by the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Trump instigated the attack by right-wing groups.
Kamala Harris will also be sworn in today as the first female vice president, as well as the first Black and Asian American vice president.
Trump departed for Florida this morning (Jan. 20) aboard Air Force One, his final ride as president. He bade farewell before a small crowd
Vice President Mike Pence will attend the inauguration.
