Kaley Cuoco and Rose Byrne were spotted on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of Woody Allen’s hot new film “Blue Jasmine,” starring Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin. Louie C.K. and Andrew Dice Clay.
Both Cuoco and Byrne made the scene in supporting roles at the AMPAS Samuel Goldwyn Theater, Wed. (July 24) in Beverly Hills. “Blue Jasmine” also premiered in New York City, July 22. The film was shot in Manhattan and San Francisco.
Stars Turn Out for Blue Jasmine Premieres
Byrne is dating Bobby Cannavale, who plays Chili in the film, while Kaley was partnered up with Ali Fedotowsky, who plays Dr. Ficker. Fedotowsky is best known for her role on reality show “The Bachelorette.”
Cuoco was outfitted in Zimmermann, with Manolo Blahnik heels, a Jimmy Choo clutch, and Dannijo jewelry.
Byrne wore Christopher Kane, with Casadei shoes, an Edie Parker clutch, and jewelry by Sophie Hughes.
In New York, Jess Weixler was also spotted on the red carpet. Weixler, who is known for acting in indie movies, this year joined the cast of the CBS series “The Good Wife,” as investigator Robyn Burdine.
Blanchett is earning Oscar raves for her performance. She plays Jasmine, a woman who has recently left her Bernie Madoff-like husband. They live a fantastic Manhattan lifestyle, until he’s convicted of fraud and commits suicide in prison.
