Trace Adkins ready to release his 11th studio album.

Adkins’ music is known for its soft touch and irreverent humor, with tunes like “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk,” “Til The Last Shot’s Fired” and “You’re Gonna Miss This.”

But hold on y’all, he says. “This is an album of love songs but in my book, ‘Hot Mama’ and ‘Badonkadonk’ are love songs! So don’t start thinking these are all ‘I’ll love you til the end of time’ ballads… but yeah, we’ve got those too,” he said in a statement.

Producers on the record include Tony Brown, Mark Wright, Frank Rogers, Kenny Beard and Mickey Cones. Adkins also promises several guest appearances, although he has yet to reveal who they are.

The artist who stands at 6’6″ tall, calls the album multi-layered with an open-ended question (make that questions): “love will build a bridge? love will move mountains? love will tear us apart? Any Country song can tell you that all of the above are true,” he says.

Adkins, 55, a country crooner with a baritone voice broke onto the music scene in 1995 with his debut album Dreaming Out Loud. In all, he has sold more than 10 million albums, a solid track record considering the size of the genre. His last album, 2011’s Proud To Be Here debuted at No. 1 on country charts and included a Top Ten hit, “Just Fishin,”

In January 2010, Adkins left his long-time label, Capitol Nashville, and signed with Show Dog-Universal Music, according to his bio. Love Will… is his 11th studio album. It will be released this spring.
