Taylor Swift is touring in support of her Red album. She dueted with Carly Simon over the weekend.

Taylor Swift’s concert tour hit Foxboro, Mass., over the weekend where she was joined on stage by ’60-70s singer Carly Simon. They sang a duet of Carly’s 1972 hit song “You’re So Vain.”

Long before Taylor became the queen of relationship songs, Carly, 68, ignited endless speculation about her relationship song.

Fans have tried to guess the subject of her song, and she’s never really told. Carly has always said the song is about “men” not a specific man. In later interviews she’s said the subject is a composite of three men.

It contains the classic refrain: “You’re so vain, you probably think this song is about you.”

Sounds just like a Swift song. Her hits include “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” Both songs resulted out of failed relationships.

While Swift has always been coy about her subjects , most speculation centers on boyfriends like One Direction’s Harry Styles for the former and Jake Gyllenhaal for the latter.

The next day Taylor, 23, was spotted with her tour-mate Ed Sheeran at her summer home in Westerly, Rhode Island.
