Rydel Lynch and pop-rock band R5 wrapped up a major promotion with Bazooka Candy Brands yesterday with a show in New York City to debut their new video.

The video for their song “Rock That Rock” included fans who participated in the year-long promotion of Bazooka’s Ring Pop and Ring Pop Gummies candy.

    Talk about a sweet sound.

The band also includes Ross Lynch, Riker Lynch, Rocky Lynch and Ellington Ratliff. It formed in 2009 in Los Angeles and self-released an EP, Ready Set Rock the following year.

In 2012, they hooked up with Disney Music Group’s Hollywood Records, which explains their ever-expanding tween fan base.

The band is working on their second studio album scheduled for release this year, a follow up to debut album Louder released last September.

Just shows there’s more than one way to get the top. The band will tour in the fall. (See their schedule below.)

Check out their video and performance at the Gramercy Theatre yesterday (June 9). Let us know your thoughts and be sure to follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest music news.
