Swift unveiled the new song on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and it supposed to be released tonight (Oct. 20) at midnight.

A number of gossip sites, such as EntertainmentWeekly and GossipCop have already dropped link bait claiming to have the song. But it’s just a set up.
Taylor released a teaser of the song, and they’ve posted that.
While Swift is keeping the song close to her chest (so to speak), IM has obtained the full lyrics. Check them out below and be ready to sing along when the song finally comes out.
The single is expected to be included on her upcoming album 1989. “She’s already released “Shake it Off” and “Out of the Woods.”
Both songs are pure pop and mark Taylor’s departure from country music to her entry full force into the crowded field of pop princesses.

“I started the album with ‘Welcome to New York’ because New York has been an important landscape and location for the story of my life in the last couple of years,” said the singer in a statement.
“It’s like an electric city, and I approached moving there with such wide-eyed optimism. I saw New York as a place of endless potential and possibilities, and you can hear that reflected in this music and in this song.”

Taylor likes the city so much she’s reportedly spent $15 million on a soaring penthouse apartment and is begging her BFF Selena Gomez to join her in Manhattan.
Her album will be released on October 27.

Welcome To New York
Written by Taylor Swift and Ryan Tedder
Produced by Ryan Tedder
Walking through a crowd
The village is aglow
Kaleidoscope of loud heartbeats
Under coats
Everybody here wanted something more
Searching for a sound we hadn’t heard before
And it said
Welcome to New York
It’s been waiting for you
Welcome to New York
Welcome to New York
Welcome to New York
It’s been waiting for you
Welcome to New York
Welcome to New York
It’s a new soundtrack
I could dance to this beat, beat
Forevermore
The lights are so bright
But they never blind me, me
Welcome to New York
It’s been waiting for you
Welcome to New York
Welcome to New York
When we first dropped our bags
On apartment floors
Took our broken hearts
Put them in a drawer
Everybody here was someone else before
And you can want who you want
Boys and boys and girls and girls
Chorus
Like any great love
It keeps you guessing
Like any real love
It’s ever changing
Like any true love
It drives you crazy
But you know you wouldn’t change
Anything, anything, anything…
Chorus
