It hardly seems like she’s been around long enough to have a greatest hits album already, but a leaked track list suggests one is on the way.
Selena told MTV last month that new music was on the way and she was about to reveal “a whole new chapter coming that I can’t wait to share with people.”
Then, Selena almost said as much herself in the caption of an Instagram photo she posted on Monday (Oct. 3) showing her in a sound studio.
“As I have a last listen, I thought a lot about my year. I thought a lot about my voice. And after a year of holding on. I think it’s time to start sharing. #November”
Releasing an album this month, even if it is a rehash of previous releases, would put her squarely in the middle of the holiday gift-buying season.
While there has been no other official confirmation, the French edition of online retailer amazon.com, published the name of the new double album, For You, and a 15-song tack list.
Included is a song “Heart Wants What It Wants,” which, as yet, is unreleased. There’s also reportedly a collaboration with Rock Mafia called “Do It,” according to Idolator.
Selena even sings one song titled “Mas,” or “More,” in Spanish!
So far, the American version of amazon has no listing.
The 22-year-old singer’s last album, Stars Dance, was released in July a year ago. The latest album is scheduled for release Nov. 24, according to amazon.
