Rihanna walked like an Egyptian, but sang like a sultry princess at the Robin Hood Foundation Benefit Gala last night at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
The 24-year-old singer wore a gold-leafed bra with a matching gold skirt and later donned leopard-print, Arabian-nights style leggings that were slit up to the thighs.
She wore exotic gold eye make-up and a gold headband with an Egyptian asp decoration in the middle, evoking shades of Cleopatra.

She kicked off the show with “Only Girl (In The World),” followed by “Run This Town” and “Live Your Life.”
Only a week ago, Rihanna was flat on her back with an IV-drip in her arm, reportedly because of a bad case of the flu and attendant dehydration. Some tabloid reports claimed, however, that she’d been partying to the point of exhaustion.
Rihanna’s movie debut in “Battleship” hits the big screen this weekend (May 18). She’s talked about doing more roles, and possibly a biopic of the late Whitney Houston, once she gets more acting experience.
Check out a brief clip of her performance below, and stunning photos.
