  • Lana Del Rey stars in another dreamy, sepia-toned video that’s a symbolic portrayal of her song “Summertime Sadness.” The tune is supposedly a true story about two lesbian lovers who taken their own lives.

Del Rey looks stunningly fashionable as she plunges off a bridge. The images of her could have been culled from a high-fashion photo spread.

Although the video has a story line, it’s more a collection of images or video postcards. Jaime King stars as Del Rey’s lover; her husband Kyle Newman, a filmmaker co-directs with Spencer Susser, who belongs to the Australian filmmaking collective Blue-Tongue Films.

Del Rey, 26, aka Elizabeth Grant, has model good looks and signed a deal in January with NEXT Model Management agency. Earlier this week, H&M, the UK fashion retailer, said the singer would rep its 2012 Autumn campaign.

She’s also working on her second studio album, Born to Die. This is the second video from the likely album track list. She released a video for “National Anthem” earlier this month.

The video opens with a strumming solo guitar and sepia-toned scenes of passing clouds. The video cuts to Del Rey standing in a garden in a matching white top and skirt, staring dreamily in the distance (as always) as the song opens.
