  • Pop singer Katy Perry went with a ’50s rock ‘a billy look that would have made early Elvis proud as she performed an acoustic version of her song “The One That Got Away” on Britain’s music show, “The X Factor.”

    It was a sharp departure from her usual act’s brightly colored outfits, yards of latex and cartoonish sets.

    Katy showed off her musical talent by playing the guitar and singing three-part harmony with two back-up singers for her dreamy ballad.

    Perry has a full agenda in England.

    She shot the music video for “The One That Got Away” earlier in the month.

    She noted on the show last night that she completed the 95th show on her California Dreams tour at London’s O2 Arena.
