  • Madonna is the latest artist so see a demo of a new song leak onto the Internet before she was ready to release it. The tune “Give Me All Your Love” went viral leaving the Material Girl “very upset,” according to her manager.

The song hit the web yesterday (Nov. 9) and any fan with an Internet connection could sample it, although copies are quickly disappearing.

The track is slated to be the debut single on Madonna’s upcoming album, her first studio release since leaving Warner Bros to join Live Nation.

“Madonna told me this morning ‘my true fans wouldn’t do this’… whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!” manager Guy Oseary wrote on Twitter.

“I’m very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!!!!!!!!”

Oseary also said in a response to a Twitter query that the new, as yet untitled album, should be finished in the next month or so.

But the controversy didn’t end there.

Some music critics claim the song is very similar to a tune by British pop star Nicola Roberts called “Beat of My Drum.”

Both feature background vocals spelling out the word “love.”

A Tweet by Roberts in response to her Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole added fuel to the fire.

Roberts tweeted “Copy-catting has never flattered me.” after Cole wrote: “Imitation is the biggest form of flattery!”

Roberts later said her Tweet was not in reference to Madonna and said she had yet to hear her song.

Reports to that effect were a “horrible, nasty and hurtful” rumor, she added.

“Some people, like me, haven’t even heard this leaked Madonna song. Some people find it So Easy to say such horrible nasty hurtful words so frivolously.”

Madonna’s new record will be her first studio album since 2008’s Hard Candy, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. pop charts.

Madonna dropped long-time music label Warner Bros in 2007, and signed a deal with concert promoter Live Nation reported to be for 10 years and worth $120 million.

She’s rumored to be performing at this year’s Super Bowl. Check out her new song below.
