Paul McCartney Ever Young at 71 With New Single ‘New’ (listen!)

As soon as the new Paul McCartney single, “New,” broke, I listened to it straight away. At 71, McCartney is pushing it more than ever: world tours, videos, re-mastered early works; rather amazing I’d say. As big as The Beatles became, they are just a chapter in his long storied career. The new song is miraculously more ’70s and ’80s than anything else–think “Penny Lane” or “My Brave Face.” “We can do as we want; we can live as we choose” is the one lyric that will jump out at you, and rather charming at that. ...

Demi Lovato Sings Passionate All I Want for Christmas at White House

As a Disney teen queen, Demi Lovato took a back seat to Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. But she came into her own at a high profile performance as part of NBC’s holiday special, “A White House Christmas.” She belted out the popular chestnut “All I Want for Christmas is You,” a risky pick since Mariah Carey just revived the 1966 song as part of her Christmas album. Nonetheless, Demi pulled off the song with aplomb by singing more of a classic arrangement compared with Mariah’s up-tempo pop treatment. Demi also imbued the song with passion, rising to the occasion....

Miley Cyrus doesn’t actually eat cake but she wears it well smeared across her boobs in a new video for dubstep artist Borgore. She rocks out in all black low-cut top that reveals her ample cleavage; no bra, of course. And yes, that’s her fiance Liam Hemsworth in the unicorn mask. In one scene, Miley tries to remove his tonsils with her long, lean tongue....

Jonas Brothers 'Wedding Bells' Song Rings Up Miley Cyrus Rumors (listen!)

The Jonas Brothers are following a formula perfected by Taylor Swift… maybe. The set off a Internet buzz after one of the songs played last night in New York City sparked rumors it was about Miley Cyrus. Or, Maybe not. Swift is notorious about writing not-so-flattering songs about relationships that result in bad breakups, including Joe Jonas. The 23-year-old singer dated Swift from July to October 2008 and blew her off with a telephone call after hooking up with actress Camilla Belle. Swift supposedly wrote songs “Forever and Always,” “Last Kiss” and “Better than Revenge” based on the breakup....

Miley Cyrus Soars With New Backyard Session Standard (watch!)

Miley Cyrus is showing growing maturity in her singing style with the release of another standard, “Look What They’ve Done With My Song, Ma.” It’s part of her “Backyard Sessions,” recorded over the summer, “BH,” i.e. before haircut. Cyrus, 19, sings backed by an acoustic band. The music is stripped down and she sails on the power of her voice and her emotional delivery. Miley recorded the songs during the early summer with Stacy Jones on drums, Mike Schmid on piano, Jamie Arentzen on guitar, Jaco Curaco on Guitar and Vashon Johnson on Bass. Paul Hager engineered the sound....

Miley Glams Up Punk Look at IHeartRadio Festival (photos, video)

Miley Cyrus was a standout at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last night (Sept. 22). She added a touch of glamour to her punk-pop look and showed off her trim body.
