Kanye West is having another bipolar moment. After sharply rebuking Donald Trump only two months ago, the rapper is now ready to put his red #MAGA hat back on again. Apparently, it has something to do with mind control… seriously!

Now, it’s the #MAGA hat or nothing at all his shows. “From now on I’m performing with my mutherf***** hat on” he declared on social media.

Kanye was Trump’s most visible African-American supporter… until he wasn’t.

The rapper threw Fox News and right-wing pundits into chaos last November with his stunning denunciation of the president on social media.

“My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!” he wrote on Twitter in November.

Conservative pundits had immediately put West on a pedestal when he backed Trump before the election. Republicans were desperate for some high-profile African-American to embrace the president, whose support in the black community was, and remains, in single digits.

But in the process, the rapper irked his fan base and was called out be other celebrities. Even wife Kim Kardashian was having no part of it.

Trump went so far as to invite West to the White House, but their carefully organized photo-op turned into a disaster after West went off on a bizarre rant.

You may recall, West posed for a photo-op with Trump following the election in Dec. 2016. The rapper was fresh off his stint in a psych ward. Clinton won 88 percent of the black vote, compared with 8 percent for Trump, according to exit polling by the Edison Research Center.

One of the things that appears to irk West the most is the fact that most blacks support Democrats.

“One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can’t tell me what to do because I’m black,” he wrote on Twitter. He also ranted about “mind control” after he reactivated his account in October last year.

“You know, when people try to influence you through social media and try to tell you what to do or if you post something that’s positive on Instagram and it gets taken down if it’s not part of a bigger agenda, you know, that’s like mind control,” he wrote.

“That’s the echo chamber. That’s trying to control you based off of incentivizing you and based off of you getting enough likes, and that’s the poison that’s happening with social media,” he continued.

During his December meeting with Trump, the rapper said they talked about “bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums and violence in Chicago.”

Kanye suffered a breakdown and canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour in San Jose, Calif., after veering off-track into a 25-minute political harangue.

He ended by saying he “would’ve voted for Trump.” Of course, that is, if he’d voted. He didn’t.

Last September, during the rapper’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” he put on the red Trump cap and declared that he wanted to break the long-standing link between black voters and the Democratic Party.

“Actually, blacks weren’t always Democrats,” he said in an impromptu speech on the show. “It’s like a plan they did to take the fathers out the homes and promote welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s the Democratic plan,” he said.

That followed his rap:

“I wanna cry right now. Black man in America, you’re supposed to keep what you feel inside right now. And the liberals bully you and tell you what you can and cannot wear, where you and they can’t not stare. And they look at me and say, ‘It’s not fair. How the hell did you get here? Well…”

In October, less than a month before the election, Kanye had a widely publicized Oval Office meeting with Trump, taking their bromance to a new level.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka, Kid Rock and NFL Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown also sat through West’s meandering 10-minute monologue.
