  • Lisa Marie Presley, TheImproper.comLisa Marie Presley is ushering in her first album in seven years, with the release of a new single “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet,” produced by 12-time Grammy winner T Bone Burnett.

Needless to say, the daughter of King of Rock Elvis Presley spared no expense producing the album, recorded at The Village in Los Angeles.

She sings in a breathy voice that sounds a lot like Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac. It’s been described as “gutsy and blues-edged.”

The rock-inflected country album, Storm and Grace, reflects Presley’s “Southern roots,” according to her label. It ranges from “the ominous, swampy vibe of lead single ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet’ and ‘Sticks And Stones to Soften The Blows’ to the “achingly beautiful title track, which evokes the ease of an impromptu back porch jam session.”

“Just over two years ago, I went to England to attempt to write another record after finding myself in a considerably disheartened and uninspired state creatively,,” Presley, 44, said in a statement.

“Over an eight-month period, I wrote 30 songs. Nothing was planned or contrived in any way and out of it came a very organic record that was always inside of me, and that I am incredibly proud of,” she added.

Presley’s “father would be proud of her,” says Burnett.

Lisa Marie released her debut album, To Whom It May Concern, in 2003, reached as high as No. 5 on the pop charts and was certified gold. Her second album, 2005’s Now What, reached No 9 on charts, and was certified gold that November.

Her latest will be released in May. But you can pre-order it now from amazon.com by clicking the link above. Check out the song below.
