  • Taylor Swift headlined the KIIS FM Jingle Ball Show.

    Taylor Swift touched off frenzy at the 2012 KIIS FM Jingle Ball at the Nokia Theatre last night (Dec. 1) in Los Angeles. Swift is riding a wave with the release of her new album Red, which topped the charts in its first week out.

    The 22-year-old singer gave a pre-show interview with KIIS FM disc jockey JoJo Wright and Sisanie, whom she kindly thanked for playing all of the singles from her new album on the radio.

    “You guys are playing all the singles we put out like crazy, thank you for that,” she said.

    Taylor, a country music queen, owes a big part of her success to a large cross-over audience and Red is one of her most pop-inflected studio albums yet.

    She said “Trouble” and “22” are her favorites off the record. She said the album was a departure for her.

    She revealed that Nashville star Hayden Panettiere is her neighbor; they live in the same Nashville apartment building. She also revealed that she’s putting together he new tour, which is already sold out.

    Her birthday is coming up in a week and a half; she’ll turn 23, and she’s looking forward to that as well, she said.

    Swift walked the read carpet in a cream and black striped Kate Spade dress. She wore a red sequined top and black high-waist shors when she headlined the show. She played “You Belong With Me,” “Red,” and “I Knew You Were Trouble” complete with her signature red mic.
