  • Restaurants in the summer vacation redoubt of the rich and famous tend to come and go, but 75 Main has managed hold its allure.

Zach Erdem, the new owner of Southampton’s 75 Main restaurant, has turned the 20-year-old landmark into a year-round destination combining its familiar Hamptons style with a New York City nightlife vibe.

Restaurants in the summer vacation redoubt of the rich and famous tend to come and go, but 75 Main has managed to keep its allure.

75 Main boasts a full-size bar that can seat 28 people.

No doubt part of the reason is because of its fantastic Main Street location. It’s given the restaurant a see-and-be-seen cache.

Frequent celebrity diners include Yankee slugger Alex Rodriquez, Barbara Walters, Calvin Klein and actor Chris Noth.

Sarah Jessica Parker, music mogul LA Reid, television personality Kelly Ripa and even Kim and Kourtney Kardashian have also been spotted there.

Erdem has brought in a new chef, Victor Pastuizaca, who specializes in Italian and contemporary American cuisine. His specialties include Calamari Fritti, Veal Milanese, Smoked Salmon with Fettuccini and soft shell crab encrusted with cornmeal and served with mixed berries and baby arugula.

Another of Pastuizaca’s signature dishes is a bone in Veal Milanese. It’s lightly breaded and served with arugula, tomato, red onion, shave parmigianna, finished with fresh squeezed lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil.

Wisely, Erdem stuck with the restaurant’s familiar neutral decor. The restuarant features an outdoor patio, hardwood floors, modern artwork and a white color palette. Artist Chris Brown and Sports Illustrated photographer Raphael Mazzucco are featured among the artworks.

Throughout the week, well-known DJs, live bands provide entertainment, and Erdem keeps things hopping with drink specials, such as Ladies’ Night on Thursdays and free drinks for ladies from 10pm to midnight on Friday. The place typically rocks out until 4 a.m. on weekends.

On Saturdays, the DJs from St. Tropez and Europe spin the hottest music from around the globe. On Sundays, 75 Main also hosts a Manhattan-style brunch party with mimosas and a live DJ from noon-6:30 p.m.

During the special summer happy hour, all drinks and appetizers are half prace at the bar from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
