  • Rihanna puts her raw sexuality on display on the cover of GQ magazine’s upcoming issue. She says she is uninhibited about exposing her curvaceous body because nudity is part of the culture of her native Barbados.

“That comes from my culture,” she tells the magazine. “That’s just the way it’s always been, and I think that for people, especially in America, they make it like the forbidden fruit, but that only makes kids more curious.”

She’s got that right and she teases magazine readers by exposing most, but not all of her stunning body. She covers her private parts (barely) with her sinuous arms, hands or a strategically placed garment.

“I was a lot more naive about the way I moved and the way I was being perceived” she says about growing up in the island nation. “The more you hear people talk about ‘Oh, you’re a sex symbol,’ it just makes you think, ‘Why are you saying that?’ And I figured it out.”

For all of her sexual allure, Rihanna’s relationships have been short or non-existent ever since the fateful night in 2009 when then-boyfriend Chris Brown beat her savagely. The two have recently reconciled, but both Brown and Rihanna confirmed last week they are not dating.

“Love makes you go places you probably wouldn’t ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits,” she says.

So officially at least, Rihanna is still searching for her other half and has a certain type in mind.

“I like to feel like a woman,” she says. “I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, like I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead.”

The 24-year-old singer is currently promoting her seventh studio album in seven years Unapologetic.
