  • Karrueche Tran finally gets a chance to talk in more than 140 characters about her three-way affair with Chris Brown and Rihanna. On the good side, she says she’s done with the drama. Does this mean her 15 minutes of fame are over?

It’s hard to know how much Tran shopped around until she could find a magazine willing to interview her. But hip-hop mag Rolling Out finally allows her to open up, and she represents herself well.

Tran, 24, who bills herself a model and actress, but is best known as Brown’s sometime girlfriend, says she was just as shocked as anyone when she became the subject of intense media scrutiny.

“The paparazzi would take pictures and follow me when I wasn’t around Chris [Brown],” she tells the magazine. “I was like ‘Chris is not here, why are you following me?’ But I was constantly seeing myself on blogs and websites. It was kind of weird.”

But how’s this for weird. In the middle of her relationship, the singer suddenly started collaborating with Rihanna. At first, it was just music, but the girl he beat unconscious in 2009 pushed her way back into his life again, forcing Tran to the sideline.

For awhile, the whole drama played out on Twitter in cryptic Tweets mostly from Rihanna, but some from Tran, too.

She insists she’s not the person portrayed in some blogs. That would be as gold-digging hanger-on, willing to play second-fiddle in a three-way relationship? “There are things that go public and everything that comes out is not the truth,” she says.

For her part, Tran says she’s ready to move on with the new year. “Honestly, all I want is happiness. There was a lot of dysfunction and negativity. I just want to be happy,” she says.

Tran hopes she can pick up the pieces with the debut of her clothing line, The-Kill, this year. But she hasn’t given up totally on Brown.

She was quick to run to his defense, again, on Twitter, after his Jan. 28 fight with Frank Ocean. “Don’t be so quick to assume,” she wrote in reference to reports Brown started the fight.

    Some girls never learn.
