Nicole Ritchie, Ariel Winter and other celebrities who appear on television shows were feted last night in Hollywood at the “ELLE Women in Television Celebration” at SoHo House.
Ariel, 14, who stars as Alex Dunphy on “Modern Family,” represented Hollywood’s up-and-coming generation. She was spotted with Kiernan Shipka who stars as Sally Draper on “Mad Men.”
Winter turns 15 on Monday, celebrated on the set of “Modern Family.” The cast and crew surprised her with a cake after filming wrapped for the week. “LOVE everyone I work with so much. Best people ever! I was about to cry. 🙂 happy birthday to me!! (It’s on Monday!)” she wrote on Instagram.
Winter has had some rough sailing recently. She’s battled her mother over abuse claims. A judge sided with her and allowed her to live with her sister.
Among the celebrities also attending the event where Cat Deeley, Christa Allen, best known for her role as Charlotte Grayson on the ABC drama “Revenge,” Ellie Kemper, who played Erin Hannon in NBC’s “The Office” and Willa Holland, who appeared as Kaitlin Cooper on “The O.C.”
Joining them where Sarah Chalke, who played Dr. Elliot Reid on the hit comedy “Scrubs,” Erika Christensen, who co-starred on the short-lived ABC drama “Six Degrees” and Anna Camp, who played Sarah Newlin on the second season of “True Blood.”
