Every summer a song captures the attention of everyone. It plays round the clock on radio and is on the lips of music fans everywhere. So which artist will capture the crown this summer? Here are five top contenders.

Almost without fail a single some comes to symbolize the rite of passage we call summer.

In 2013, music fans couldn’t get enough of “Blurred Lines, the racy Robin Thick tune, featuring T.I. and Pharrell, not to mention their x-rated video.

The year before that, Carly Rae Jepsen broke out with the summer hit “Just Call Me Baby.”

The summer of 2016 was all about Drake. He had two songs in the top five, including No. 1 hit “One Dance, feature WizKid and Kyla.

The No. 4 song was his hit “Too Good,” featuring Rihanna, who had a hit of her own, No. 3 “This Is What You Came For,” featuring Calvin Harris.
