Pharrell Williams May Get Relief From $7.4M ‘Blurred Lines’ Jury Verdict

Pharrell Williams may get half a loaf in his bid for a new trial in the “Blurred Lines” copyright case that stunned the music industry after a jury awarded $7.4 million to the family of late-singer Marvin Gaye. In a hearing on motions in the case yesterday (June 29), federal district court Judge John Kronstadt said he was leaning against Williams’ request for a new trial.
