Britney Spears confirmed today (Apr. 12) that rapper Nicki Minaj will join the Femme Fatale tour this summer, along with opening acts Jessie and the Toy Boys and Nervo.
The all female line-up will play every tour stop.
“I’m thrilled to have Nicki Minaj, Jessie and the Toy Boys, and Nervo join me and get everyone on the dance floor,” said Spears. “Can’t wait to take the Femme Fatales on the road.”
Spears has reportedly prepared an extraordinary show for her North American tour. It kicks off June 16th in Sacramento at the Power Balance Pavilion.
Femme Fatale, Spears seventh studio album, is expected to debut at #1 on tomorrow’s Billboard album charts, marking her 6th No. 1 album, and continuing her reign as one of the top-selling artists of the past decade.

She recently released “Till The World Ends” from Femme Fatale. It follows the smash debut single, “Hold It Against Me,” which has sold more than a million copies.
“Hold It Against Me” also debuted at number one on both the Hot 100 Singles and Hot Digital Songs Chart.
It currently ranks No. 1 on the digital singles charts in 20 markets globally and is the No. 1 video on MTV and VH1.
The pop princess’s latest video for “Till the World Ends” debuted Apr. 6 on her YouTube channel.
It plays off the Apocalyptic day the world is supposed to end, Dec. 12, 2012, according to the ancient Mayans.
The video depicts the end coming in a hail of meteors, or possibly fallout from a huge volcanic explosion somewhere.
In any event, Spears and her crew keep the faith by dancing the end away.
The video evokes images of a Mel Gibson’s “Mad Max” movies, or the more recent “Book of Eli,” a post-Apocalyptic film starring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, Ray Stevenson and Jennifer Beals.
According to Britney’s interpretation, humankind will be reduced to living like rats in dirty basements and underground parking garages.
Britney, however, looks none-the-worse for wear.
Spears has sold more than 67 million albums worldwide since her debut in 1999 and has generated more than 24 Top 40 Hits.
They include: …Baby One More Time (1999); Oops!… I Did It Again (2000); Britney (2001); In The Zone (2003); Blackout (2007); Circus (2008); and The Singles Collection (2009).
