Michael Buble enjoys the scenery in his new video for “It’s a Beautiful Day.”
The singer catches his on-screen girlfriend Jaime Pressly in the middle of another long-lingering kiss with Heiman. What an animal!
“What’s going on?” the Canadian singer says.
Turns out, she’s just getting a little therapy from her yoga instructor, or so she claims. “Namaste,” the geeky guy responds playing along.
“Awesome,” Buble replies.
“He was just helping me with my breathing,” she adds.
“Good,” says the 37-year-old singer as he heads for the door. “All good.”
The video seems to be the Canadian singer’s way of spoofing suburban life. It takes place it a sunny looking suburb. The street has a “Desperate Housewives” look, as bumps into one hot babe after another on his walk down the street.
There are rainbows and a unicorn-shaped cloud in the sky, parades, a snazzy group of backup dancers and lots of confetti.
His blonde girlfriend stares out the window and grimaces. He finally makes his way back to the house and ends up serenading her. She jumps out the window, but he just shrugs and watches her fall. He finishes the song to explosions in the street behind him.
“It’s a Beautiful Day” is the lead single off his upcoming album To Be Loved. It hits the streets next month.
The upbeat album is about “love, happiness, fun and yummy things,” Buble told London’s Daily Mail tabloid. Buble said he especially enjoyed working with his long-time producer Bob Rock.
“We’re a good team. I love the songs we selected this time out. It was also terrific working once again with my songwriting partners,” he said.
In real-life, Buble is married to Luisana Lopilato. They’re expecting their first child.
