Alanis Morissette, who battle anorexia and bulimia early in her career and later became a fitness buff, has given birth to a healthy baby boy, on Christmas day no less. No, she is not naming him Jesus.
Morissette and Mario “Souleye” Treadway welcomed a baby boy, Ever Imre Morissette-Treadway, on Dec. 25. “All are healthy and happy,” a rep said.
Grammy winning singer/songwriter Morissette 36, and Canadian rapper Souleye, 30, got married at their Los Angeles home May 22.
Ironically, Alanis’ ex-boyfriend, fellow Canadian and “Green Lantern” star Ryan Reynolds, 34, just filed for divorce from his wife of two years, actress Scarlett Johansson, 26.

Alanis first made headlines when she appeared in public looking significantly heavier than usual in 2008.
Morissette, who became famous in 1995 with her blockbuster album Jagged Little Pill, then lost 20 pounds in 2009 after adopting a vegan diet and running several miles a day.
After her stunning weight loss, she revealed that she had suffered from anorexia and bulimia from age 14 to 18, confessing she was “a self-loathing, dysmorphic girl.”
Alanis, who dated Canadian hottie Ryan Reynolds from 2002-2007, reveals she recovered from her food addiction and eating disorders through therapy.
Last year, Morissette got in the best shape of her life by overhauling her diet, running and doing yoga. In Oct. 2009, Alanis completed the 26.2-mile New York City Marathon in 4:28:45.
