Rimes, 30, recorded the song for her new album Spitfire. It goes nationwide June 4.
The video is fairly straight-forward and shows Rimes in the studio as the band strikes up the tune. It’s country to its core with a wailing steel guitar drums and guitar. Rimes has a voice that’s as clear as a crystal bell.
In case all the tabloid hype has clouded her past, Rimes was as child phenom, who became a country star when she was a 13-year-old. Her debut album Blue, after the title song, went multi-platinum and she’s never looked back.
Her storybook career became tabloid fodder when she was caught on a security camera canoodling with actor Eddie Cibrian. At the time, they were co-starring in “Northern Lights,” a Lifetime made-for-TV movie.
But Cibrian was married to Glanville and Rimes was still married to husband Dean Sheremet.
The both divorced and married in 2011. Ever since, Glanville, Rimes and Cibrian have been engaged in an on-again, off again feud involving Twitter sniping, tabloid stories, dueling bikini photos and Glanville’s role on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
