Taylor Swift played in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve while boyfriend Calvin Harris worked a show at Caesar’s Palace. But the celebration wasn’t all fun for the 1989 singer. She released a new video for “Out of the Woods” off the album.
Swift was spotted at the club partying with Ruby Rose, according to reports.

It must have been a dream come true for Rose. She admitted on Twitter she had a crush on Swift. Rose called her a “gateway drug.” Rose recently split from partner Phoebe Dahl.
It’s unknown if Swift swings both ways, but her attention last night was focused on Harris, who was the club’s DJ. They’ve been dating for the past couple of months.
Ironically, the song for Swift’s video was reportedly inspired by her abortive relationship with One Direction’s Harry Styles. They were an item over the holidays in 2012.

They partied into 2013, but the relationship ended abruptly during a Virgin Islands holiday days after the New Year. Swift was spotted leaving their love spot, the island of Virgin Gorda, while Harry was spotted still in full party mode on Richard Branson’s Necker Island.
The song actually was released a year ago ahead of the album. The video, directed by Joseph Kahn, debuted on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, with Ryan Seacrest.”
Styles performed on the show with One Direction. Was the video release a dig at him? Don’t believe the tabloids; there’s no way to know. Still, rather coincidental.
