Noel Gallagher isn’t much to look at, but his new video for High Flying Birds’ “Everybody’s on the Run” has a stunning visual. Hollywood starlet Mischa Barton provides the eye-candy.
Gallagher has been performing solo since the explosive backstage fight in 2009 with his brother, Liam. The blowup ultimately led to the demise of Oasis in 2011.
His latest effort, named after the 1974 Jefferson Starship song, launched last October with the release of debut album Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
The song is the first track off of that album. The video is set in Los Angeles and Gallagher appears in a couple of roles. Barton enters the picture in a cab. Just the shots of her getting out of the car are enough to generate an “R” rating, but that’s not all.
Actor Cameron Van Hoy sprints around LA with her in matching leopard print underwear. That’s Noel playing the taxi driver and a skateboarder who rips off a pair of sneakers from Van Roy’s character.
Gallagher played his High Flying tunes at the Coachella Music Festival to rave reviews.
Barton starred on the hit show “The OC,” but hit rough spot, involving a lot of late-night boozing after the show ended. She has since turned things around and has three films coming out this year.
Judging from the video, she looks in top shape. Check it out below.
