Snoop Dogg is making sure Rap and Hip-Hop are represented on the hit video game “Rock Band.” He’s the first rap artist to have his hits, such as “Drop it Like It’s Hot” featured.
The video game features songs from top artists like Jimi Hendrix, The Who, AC/DC and Green Day.
Up to four players simulate popular rock music songs by playing with controllers based on musical instruments.
Players can play lead guitar, bass guitar and drums to songs, as well as sing through a USB microphone.
More than four million of the games have been sold and players have downloaded more than 30 million song for the game since its release in 2007.
Since then sequels, “Rock Band 2,” “The Beatles: Rock Band,” “Lego Rock Band,” “Green Day: Rock Band” and “Rock Band 3” have been added.
In the new version, eight Snoop Dogg tracks will appear in the “Rock Band” music store. The songs will be released Tuesday.
Among his songs, the game will include such popular hits as “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” ”Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Sensual Seduction.”
