Avril Lavigne explores Gothic themes in her new video for Let It Go.
She seems to be drifting into Goth themes ahead of the launch of her new self-titled album.
She recently posed for the Italian edition of Glamour magazine wearing multi-layered clothes in monochrome colors against another seemingly medieval background.
The video also features husband Chad Kroeger, who morphs into himself from an elderly gardener and strums a six-string. The once divorced singer wed Kroeger over the summer.
The song is a rock ballad about ending a relationship and all the baggage that goes with it.
