  • Justin Bieber says success came really, really fast to him, so some critics may doubt the depth of his talent. But he told Matt Lauer on the Today show that his new movie “Never Say Never” will answer those questions.

He wants fans to know he’s no flash in the pan. “I’ve been playing music ever since I can remember,” he said. “And I really want that to be shown in [Never Say Never].”

The 3-D movie hits theaters on Feb. 11. “Everything looks better in 3D!” the Biebs crowed, wearing over-sized purple glasses.

Bieber may well be one of the hardest working men (boys) in showbusiness, but the 16-year-old says he takes at least one day off a week.

“It’s hard because I’m away from my friends and family, I waited for a brother and sister my whole life,” he says.

“But I make sure I have at least one day off a week to rest and hang out with my friends, because the rest of the week is all jam-packed. I have to have at least one day.”

While Matt’s interview was higher profile, Ryan Seacrest got the Biebs to open up about his relationship with Selena Gomez on his KIIS-FM radio show today (Jan. 31).

When asked to respond to recent photos of the two cuddling in the Caribbean, Justin said: “Just tell ‘em that she’s, like, one of my best friends.”
