  • Rihanna went native in her home country of Barbados, wearing a festive, but barely there costume to celebrate Kadooment Day. She showed few qualms about showing off her body.

‘My home, my country, my people….BARBADOS!!! #1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN’ BETTER! #RihannaNavy Miss u guys tho,” RiRi tweeted marking her arrival there.

The traditional Barbadian holiday celebrates the end of the sugar cane harvest.

The Grand Kadooment marks the finale day of celebration of what’s called the “Crop Over Festival.”

The public holiday is capped by a parade and street carnival where you can watch featured “Kadooment bands.”

The event resembles Carnival in Brazil. Women wear scantily clad costumes with wild, festive headdresses, and Rihanna definitely embraced the mood.

Last month she was named an official ambassador of Barbados, and appears to take her new duties seriously.

She wore a decorated cut-away bra top, tiny red bikini pants cut away on the sides and headdress made up of a gold crown and scarlet feathers.

She also wore fishnet stockings and straps with medallions on her legs.

The 23-year-old singer just finished the North American leg of her Loud Tour and will put on a show later this week in her home country.
